I’m Fabio, a solo guitarist based in Cardiff, performing tasteful instrumental music that brings warmth, elegance, and a relaxed sense of occasion to your day.
I perform at weddings, family celebrations, garden parties, other social gatherings and corporate receptions. I provide unobtrusive, beautiful music where people want to connect and enjoy the moment.
My performances are typically played on a nylon‑string guitar, with a warn, rounded tone that brings a Latin feel to the room.
When it compliments the performance, I use discreet looping to layer harmony and gentle rhythms over which I can improvise. This adds depth and groove whilst keeping everything authentically live.
My style brings a Spanish guitar influence to well‑known popular and jazz songs through expressive and beautiful arrangements.
I perform exclusively as a solo guitarist, organising my sets to suit the flow of your day.
My arrangements create an uplifting atmosphere for guests to relax and interact whilst enjoying a drink or dining.
My playing style adds sophistication to the occasion without dominating the room. Songs are carefully selected for their smooth, easy‑listening quality, making it an ideal match for the pace and atmosphere of your special day.

I began my musical career in the Royal Marines Band Service, playing clarinet, violin, and guitar. During my service I performed at many prestigious theatres and venues throughout the UK like the Royal Albert Hall, the London Guildhall, Horse Guards Parade, the Tower of London, the Usher Hall Edinburgh and Edinburgh Castle to name a few.
Musical Background
I have played extensively overseas, being fortunate to be selected for service aboard HM Royal Yacht Britannia. I performed before members of the Royal Family and various heads of state during official engagements and state visits. Those years shaped my standards and versatility as a musician.
After leaving the Royal Marines Band Service, music remained my passion and I have continued to perform in a variety of ensembles and musical settings. I am grateful to be able to draw on such unique training and experiences to bring my expressive solo‑guitar style to your special occasion.
Key Information
Guide price: £400 for up to 2 hours of live instrumental guitar, set up, soundcheck and pack-down (up to 4 hours at the venue).
Playing time can be split into sets to suit your event.
Guide price is based on travelling within a 15‑mile radius of Cardiff.
